The postman has brought me a new toy. Upgraded my Bremont S301 to this. Initial impressions are that this is a fantastic watch, doesn’t fit under my cuff though but that’s hardly news.

Iain’s Law: Any discussion on the Christopher Ward forum, irrespective of the thread title or subject matter, will eventually lead to someone mentioning the Bel Canto if the thread continues for long enough.

Fitted this elastic nato to the Kontiki last night. https://www.watchgecko.com/french-style ... -zuludiver
Comfortable on the wrist, but a bit of a faff to fit compared to a standard nato.

Ebels are a lot like women that lack a lowcut dress that zips up the side..neither gets the love that they deserve..

I’ll join you!

Really interested in the Apple Watch 5 with its always on display and the new faces, in particular the California dial.

Thanks Paul. I’m a bit of a neophyte WRT Apple Watches, I know you can add apps to watch faces but can each of the watch basic styles be also customised with you own colour palette?

Coming to the conclusion that I really don’t need any more watches, but these are really good value, basically not a great deal more than a reasonable quartz watch.

I might well experiment with one, if in the end I get bored with the novelty I’ve a daughter that’ll have it off my wrist in an instant!

Day 3. Gathering my thoughts and impressions on how the 114270 compares to the current OP 36mm (116000).

They for sure feel different on the wrist.

Will post updates as I get more familiar with my Explorer.
