I employed a little elbow grease last night to turn the bezel and lugs on this back to their original brushed finish, rather than the polished finish a previous owner had given them. Personally, I think it looks much better and more in keeping with the aviator style.

I had the same with my C5A MkI.

Except, I was the one who polished it to cover scratches, but then got the proper brushed finish, courtesy of a new case as part of some service and repair work at CW.
