Non CW of the Day
Re: Non CW of the Day
OP for today. Together with a 114270 this would be a dream 2 watch collection .
Luckily I have my limit at 6 but still contemplating if I need to scratch the Explorer 1 itch.

I also have a bit of an explorer itch but your little op gets very close to the 36mm version. Different hand set and colour (the blue is lovely) but otherwise very close, maybe too close?
Cheers now, Paul

It’s the dial and dial colour for the Explorer. I did see a modded OP (blue 3 6 9 dial) with the Mercedes handset; that looked really good!stefs wrote:I also have a bit of an explorer itch but your little op gets very close to the 36mm version. XX on a new GasGasBones strap.
Couldn't get it fitted initially as clearance between spring bars and case was too tight.
Was thinking of curved bars, discussed with Carl, he suggested the same and promptly put two pairs in the post.
Worked a treat, so sent him a donation to his Coffee Fund (assuming he drinks coffee).

FOIS, I think my favorite speedy of them all. But then, that handset is a favorite of mine wherever it is used.
Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…
