Green grass on cliff, blue sea and sky, orange jacket matched with a watch having a green crystal, blue dial, orange second hand, on a lovely sunny day.

Very nice steve. My only gripe with these is the height which is a bit chunky or is that the thinner older one?

Lovely shot Bjiorn. Is that the 512?

Edit... just checked and indeed it is the 512. If ever I am in the market for a panerai thats the one!

Thanks, Paul. This is the chunkier 8500 version, rather than the slimmer 2500, but I find it wears well as a lot of the height is in the backplate which sinks into your wrist (where I wear it anyway!).

Thanks. It is, and unless you are ‘obsessed’ with Panerai authenticity it is a great watch. Gives you all that is good with Panerai in a smaller, much more elegant package.

Thank you Dean.

Another watch today, from a non-mainstream brand, located in the Land of the Long White Cloud.
