Re: FLE #8 - Poll #5
I know this was ruled out from the outset, but since it was mentioned at the G2G that a 40mm GMT will be introduced, could it now become an option? There did seem to be a number of members that considered the 42mm to be too large.

Re: FLE #8 - Poll #5
I doubt it, but I'd be all in favor of a delay if 40mm was the chosen model. Of course it doesn't actually exist yet but it'll be here by the fall.
The 40mm announcements have really taken me by surprise, and it make me wonder if I want to spend that much money on a 42mm. It does fit me, but 40mm fits better - as it seems it does for the majority of people who've tried it on. Remember the 42mm isn't just bigger... it's also slightly beefier all around to match the proportions.

likewise if 40mm becomes a possible option to bring more on board, I'm happy to wait

I'm happy with 42mm. At 40mm I would walk away.

Im ok with 42, but would love a 40mm gmt, could grab more of the 38mm buyers also... casting a wider net.

Considering the current struggle to get to 25 orders that may actually have to get done.bulldozer3 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 5:34 pm Im ok with 42, but would love a 40mm gmt, could grab more of the 38mm buyers also... casting a wider net.

A case in point from another thread.

Thanks for your hard work Kip. I hope it works out .... I think this a really cool watch ... and I'm lucky enough to own a Rolex GMT 2 .... the CW will allow the old GMT to have a bit of rest !

With reference to this, Kip is awaiting some info as he stated above, and I'm sure he will be updating when he is able to.
