Re: London GTG / CW Event - Chat with Co-Founders - Saturday 31st August 2019
Unfortunately I can't get to the GTG in London.
However Re. CW Events - there's a column on page 9 of Loupe that mentions a new series of roughly monthly evening events to be held at the Maidenhead showroom but I can't see anything on the CW web-site.
Anybody seen anything about these?

Couple of gents from the CWE Group, amongst others, went along and there was a special 'buy on the night' 20% discount (in stock models only, I believe).

It would be good for the non Facebook users if these nights were advertised on the forum too. They have missed out on this month but I guess not long till the next one?Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 10:38 pmThey had a Showroom Event @ CW Towers on Tuesday evening this week, published via Facebook.Mikkei4 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 10:33 pm Unfortunately I can't get to the GTG in London.

I'll try and remember for next time although, naturally, I'm not the only Facebook user who frequents the forum.

^^^ wasn’t a criticism Guy, nor aimed at you. Just good for CW to have it advertised to all CW enthusiasts as widely as possible.

Never saw anything about this event on Facebook. I thought only a select number of people are invited by email?Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2019 10:38 pm They had a Showroom Event @ CW Towers on Tuesday evening this week, published via Facebook.

Maybe something in Facebook's algorithms determined that, as you are in the USA, it would not be relevant to you.

Re: London GTG / CW Event - Chat with Co-Founders - Saturday 31st August 2019
^^^^ IIRC from a previous thread there were specific invites to the open evening events. Makes sense as CW Towers is not a Tardis!
Maybe individual invites were originally sent, but due to holiday season reduced take up, hence a follow up FB message to get numbers through the door.....

Previous open doors evenings have been advertised on Facebook as well.
I took it to be the normal way of promulgation.

Re: London GTG / CW Event - Chat with Co-Founders - Saturday 31st August 2019
Thanks Neil.
That is about an event in March, not one earlier this week which, as far as I know, was only promulgated by Facebook.
Perhaps there is a small degree of confusion somewhere and we all correct in our own way.
