Also thought that it is a really nice touch. My next thought was "hope it doesn't fall off like the He valve inscription on the trident elite 1000". Couldn't help it...
So far that's been an isolated incident, I pretty sure they would have tested it fully before production. Of course it's impossible to account for every single situation / scenario.

I would like to see this or something similar added to the crown of other models.

In my humble opinion, the logo looks much better at the 12 oclock position because it is center-justified. The large difference in the length between Christopher and Ward makes the left-justified 9 oclock layout feel extra asymmetrical and odd.

Perhaps tomorrow at the GTG someone can ask a question about the name at 12 on these watches?

They are amazing ... I have a 6.5'' wrist and I am wondering if a C65 41mm (automatic or automatic military) is too big - I have a C60 38mm... any picture of C65 on a similar wrist? Thanks a lot!

I like all three designs. Very smart with my favourite bring the Sandhurst. Also think they have really benefited from the logo at 12.
After a couple of recent big money releases these should do really well.
Cheers now, Paul

It's worth repeating, or stating if it hasn't already, but a COSC movement in this package at about $900 (when on the fantastic bracelet) is a heck of a bargain in my opinion.

It's possibly the cheapest I've seen a full price CW chronometer watch. Although some see it as a waste of time and and an unnecessary extra cost, i find it just adds that little cherry on top, so to speak to a nice quality watch.

Perhaps in time all watches in this price range and above will be COSC certified.

I value accuracy in my watches, not obsessively, but it's important to me; whether it's COSC out of the box or regulating to get pretty darn close, that's what I want. The bonus with CW offering these movements that are COSC along with their 60 month warranty, is that I assume if they lose that -4/+6spd during the warranty period, they will be adjusted/fixed under warranty.

Here's a comparison of the Sandhurst and the watch it pays homage to, the Smith W10 1967.

I really like the watch. it pays homage well, but with the light-catcher case, it's a watch which can stand on its own two feet.

I like the 38mm proportions. I'd have liked to see it in a 36mm version, as the Smith was a 35mm, but I understand logistically why they went with the 38mm.

Overall a great watch. I won't be buying as my BB36 covers the bases of a small, steel, bezel-less sports watch, but nonetheless its a great piece.

Yup, and in response to a question from the floor at the London GTG, Mike France openly stated that it was a CW decision to put the logo at 12 on the Military Collection, as that is where they felt it looked best considered all other aspects of the designs.

It was not due to any guideline or dictat from the MOD.

Of course he's gonna say that. He's hardly likely to say 'well, its not what we wanted to do but if we hadn't they were gonna tell us to s0d off'' is he?
