New Yellow C65

Post by Clach77 »

Clearly someone got excited and couldn’t wait until September to release the new watches.

Not sure the yellow works as well on the C65 as it did on the C60 yellow 316L. Maybe the C65 is just that little bit more of a dressy looking watch (IMO)

Looks good, but with the steel bezel, needs to be worn on a bracelet; which is the C60 Trident Mk3 style (wider centre links) with quick release pins.

Not sure about the bracelet being an essential, Guy. I think that would look rather good with a black hybrid strap with yellow stitching/edges/lining. It might help to beef it up a little bit more.

Wow, looks stunning. The best of the C65 bunch.

I really like C65 with steel bezel & newer wider links than the standard ones. Manual wind version with the fonts on 12 & 6 numerals certainly look more modern than vintage to me.

A Hirsch Ayrton, maybe, Steve? They go fantastic with a yellow dial

I really like the look of this one. If it had a date window it would be perfect in my eyes and I'd have bought one for sure.

That's the only thing I don't like about my C65 vintage version, I keep looking for it every time I wear it

If the logo was at 12 o’clock (like the new Military Range) then I’d be tempted.

A date window would be a bonus for me too.

I think the yellow C65 pales (not literally) in comparison to the equivalent C60, but the applied numerals and markers are an interesting new direction.

What’s really annoying is that’s a nice watch but why on Earth didn’t they offer it straight away with yellow stitching on the strap

Immediately I thought this too, great strap and well worth having in the drawer for such occasions, I have a red stitch one

I’m a big fan of Hirsch Performance straps. The Ayrton looks great in yellow
Come to think of it, the Orient Mako Bumble Bee looks far better than the new C65 in my opinion :silent: :D
