I suspect that one of the longest production runs, if not THE longest, was that achieved by the original C5 Mk I . It first went on sale in June 2005, and the Mk II version was not released until July 2012.

Personally, I always thought the second version much less attractive than the first. The same was also true for me of its chronograph counterpart the C3.

The newer dress watch cases are much nicer, though I feel that the dials and movement decoration are perhaps somewhat bland by comparison with the original C5.

I agree that the original C5 Is far better looking than the mk2. When evolution goes bad.

My reply would be are you actually going to buy from CW or just posting a ugwc type thread?

Mine is: purchased 57 and currently own 9.

So Kirk's ratio is 12.33:1
Mine is only 6.33:1

I suppose anyone who has bought at least one CW watch and now has none, will have the highest ratio, at infinity:1.

Sorry to hear that, Kirk. That's awful for you. I hope, for your sake, you had some insurance cover.

Purchased 151 CW's. Currently own 146.

Never sold any. The other 5 were gifts.

That I can account for, I’ve purchased 92 CWs. I still own 27 of them, 13 were gifts, the rest (presumably 52) have been sold. I have not included a very small number of purchase and returns in that count (2 that I can recall). I‘m fairly sure there are still some undocumented purchases in addition to that.

Was a painful process to go through to be honest when there were too many watches, especially for someone who did not have quite enough pictures for proof of ownership.

Saying all that, there aint too many CWs I had at the time could not be replaced (JH MKI & C9 SH21 Green are 2 I am still searching.)
