It's not for me, either (not a big fan of skeletonised watches). However, I don't think we can judge it as being over priced yet. If they all sell, the price is fine. Basic economics. Also, this is a new halo model, that's all. It doesn't mean CW are moving away from affordable watches. Just because Audi sell the R8 V10, they make their money out of A3s, and will still sell them. Same thing, really.

Third published price list just released!

Math and exchange rate skills are still a challenge for CW.. not sure why they can't get it right. The pound is dropping fast against the USD.

£ 3,495 = £ 2,912 ex VAT = USD 3,527 . Not even close to the US$ 4,370 price they show. When you order one if you're in the USA, make sure to buy it in GBP. And expect duty charges from DHL that you may have to challenge.

£ 3,495 = € 3,800 so a difference there as well.

Agreed. Fudging a little, the € price should be the same as the USD price.

I did the same calculations and got the same answers. Let's hope we can buy in GBP ex-VAT when this is released. The 4,370USD price is ridiculous given that import taxes could add 100 or more USD to the price.

Still it will be good to see CW at WindUp. It's about time that Windup had some different brands show up again. It's gotten a bit stale so I didn't bother to go last year. I'll go this time for sure.

Love the watch. Tough sell at that price point though, I'd like to see these limited edition at around £1500-2000. Still less that the big names but more than your standard Chris Ward. I assume most like myself like a quality watch, but also value proposition. Unfortunately at this price you could have a tag, omega, tudor and so on. Still, I hope it doesn't sell and I can pick one up in the sale

I am now even more confused!

Their house view on future £/€ and £/$ rates seems a little adrift of conventional wisdom! (No pun intended) :)
