Actually, my own comments have not been 100% positive. I stated right away that it wasn’t for me. I just sense that some people seem determined to be offended by it.

While I'm not determined to be offended by it, I just don't like it. Any of it.

Actually, I'd say you have to be determined TO like it at that price.

Shrug.

The choice to lume the remaining hour markers on the dial that can be lumed is an odd one.

Perhaps just a bad photo, but curious!

Oh...

Not a fan I'm afraid.

I like that it has an exhibition case back, but the dial just doesn't do it for me.

Prices still seem weird. If it is 3495 GBP then it should be 4232 USD but the UK price includes VAT (I presume) whereas the US price should not. It seems US customers are getting a bad deal here. Maybe we need a fourth price list. We "poor" US buyers will also have to pay import duty and DHL fees. :censored: :grumble: ](*,)

Looked at the picture in more detail. It really is a beautiful watch. I don’t think the pictures on the preview website do it justice, they are a little blurry and badly cut - my guess is that’s on purpose and full pictures will be available on the 28th.

Quite disappointed it doesn’t have a titanium back - which means I won’t be able to wear it :-( Otherwise I would have been very interested and might have put the Elite up for sale...

Re. some of the comments above. This is clearly not an investment piece but something you will have to love wearing.

Hi everyone,
I am reading this post and wondering what I am missing....
How do I find out about the preview website?
Is this something I should have registered for or am I just not seeing the obvious?
Forgive my Newbie ignorance, and thanks in advance for any help

Very interesting watch, first glance makes you think of the recent C60 Elite with the blue and orange colour scheme.

Also surprised it needs an HE valve, my Panerai has 300m WR and a display back but no HE valve so I'm not sure it is related to that.

It didn't say but assume this is an SH21 auto and not handwound.

It's price is pretty hefty but I expect they will all sell out. I don't know how many of the C7 Apex were made but if anything I would say that was a slightly more standout watch for me, perhaps of the similarity this watch has to the Elite.

Rear view appears to show a rotor, Patrick.

I too cannot understand the vitriol. CW have to move upmarket if they want to grow and be taken seriously and SH21 can be the foundation for high end pieces. Maybe they have overcooked the pricing on this one (it's not really to my taste either but some design elements are bold and/or pleasing) we'll soon see. Broadly speaking though, £3.5K is pretty reasonable for an in-house movement in a quality case, plus this has the PR complication.

Thanks Steve, so an auto. Good decision I think.

Not sure what the case size is?

As someone with absolutely zero interest in buying a Trident Mark 3......

I really like the look of that. If it’s 40mm and a matching bracelet, I may be tempted.

Don’t get the comments about the price. What were folk expecting.

Looking forward to seeing one in the metal at the London GTG.
