CW return to New York city

Post by albionphoto »

Seen on the Worn and Wound website.

https://wornandwound.com/announcing-the ... atch-fair/

Relevant bits...
"announce that Windup Watch Fair is returning to NYC October 25 – 27 at Chelsea Market."

"We’re also excited that Christopher Ward, StockX, and Zodiac will be joining the fair as sponsors as well. Christopher Ward is returning to Windup after attending our first fair in 2015. With the recent releases of their stunning C1 Moonglow and refreshed C60 Trident line, Christopher Ward will be a popular booth at Windup. :

Does this mean there will be an NYC GTG in October? I hope so. I might actually be able to make it.

Some good brands at that show including CW of course and anOrdain (Scottish watch maker of enamel dials).

Better get your ESTA sorted out Guy for the NYC GTG!

Given the BGF investment, maybe that preludes establishing an effective North American distribution/service setup. If they really want to grow the US, that's what they need to be doing - only IMHO and with no axe to grind.

Think I better check my Passport first.

On the other hand, I might ask Kip to deputise for me.

Interesting to note that as, presumably, key CW personnel will be attending the NY event on what was scheduled to be the CW Bristol GTG; the date of the Bristol GTG has been moved to 2nd November.

If Kip deputises for Guy then I might actually meet him this time. I missed him on the first CW trip to NYC back in 2015. I did meet Wera and Declan then so I wonder who from CW will attend this time?
