That's a good shout.
Special on two counts. Probably bump the price even more though.
Agree, that's a great idea, hope they make at least a prototype or 2 like that.

No. 1 or No. 2 in 40mm or 42mm.

Just picked up a GMT during the sale.

Really like the GMTs, with 5 being my favourite of the two.

Number 3 is good as well and would likely buy that at 38 or 40mm.

Edit I’d want an applied logo on whatever we got.

The Blue PVD case on 1 looks interesting and nice to see CW contemplating something different from the norm. in a good way.
If its a similar coating and colour to the one Seiko used on the blue monsters it would look fantastic as the colour would change between a bright blue and black depending on light and angles, and is very hard wearing.
Would need to see one in the wild and not an artists impression before i would buy one. size wise my collection is slowly moving down the scale size wise so would go 38mm

Not sure it is a proper FLE. Seems we are offered little or no input. After the previous two FLEs I can understand why. Will a substantial deposit up front be a requirement?
Anyway, not for me.

5, 4 and 2 are my preferences, in that order.

Applied "Device" would be nice.

Blackened (not matte black) hands and hour markers would be sweet on 4.

I know it says please don't ask in the original post but.......given that the Christopher Ward wording has been moved on other Limited Editions ( for example the Ghurka Rifles Trident where it is centre bottom) why is it not permissible on a Forum Limited Edition?

For me this would be a make or break issue as I really like some of the proposed designs and I have just about come around to the form of words but I just can't get past the nine o'clock position.

Sorry to harp on but there seems to be some inconsistent policy here that is discriminating (in the literal sense) against the forum.

Cheers,

Paul

Is it not the case that the C60 Gurkha Rifles Trident you refer to, was produced prior to the introduction of the V_3 word mark and 9 o'clock position? Therefore any comparison is flawed.

I don't mind the 9 o'clock position too much now as I've got used to it. However, if the flags at 12 were applied and the word mark at 9 was embossed I think it would be a fairly successful combination.
