Marvellous.
Is that the same bracelet, just with the quick release or will it have a different design?

Don’t know. Must admit I didn’t ask. Hope the design doesn’t change. Don’t like at all the trident mk3 bracelet with the larger middle link
Will email Declan and ask.
Ok, thank you for that.
If it will be the same with quick release I probably won't wait for the new one,
but if it is a new design it might be worth waiting to see what it looks like.
You're right about the larger links, I would love to see some kind of bead of rice design.

Update....

“The new bracelet for the C65 will be the same as current MK3 bracelet, difference being the shoulders and how they connect”.

Hmmm ... the wide centre-link makes it look much more modern than a standard oyster bracelet imo and not really in keeping with the C65s vintage aesthetic.

Maybe it looks better IRL :?

Does anyone know if they are releasing a quick release for the MK2 Trident? I have a quartz with a leather strap and would love the convenience of a quick change.

UPDATE............. Confirmed same as Trident Mk3. :(

Have a conundrum now. Buy the C65 with the old or new bracelet. :problem:

Buy now with the old bracelet. At least you'll have the option of selling and 'upgrading' should you wish to.

It may prove more difficult to get hold of an old style after the QR is released.

I think it will be fine and am not sure which I prefer.
Yes, it might have less of a vintage vibe but that doesn't mean it won't look great.

While Oris uses smaller center liks on its vintage style divers,
others such as the Omega Seamaster 300 and Seiko Prospex have wide ones and look really nice.

I'll wait to purchase a bracelet, maybe see if the old one gets discounted.
The new one might be more expensive though.

^^^^^ You're right they do look good on those two. That's the dilemma, buy old one now or wait for discount

Too bad one couldn’t simply buy new shoulders for an existing bracelet.

I'm still hoping that the quick release bracelet gets released this month. I noticed that the C65 Trident Vintage MKII with quick release bracelet is now delayed to mid-August, but I'm still cautiously optimistic that we'll see the 22mm C65 quick release bracelet in a few weeks.

Though if anyone has any up-to-date news, please share. I love my C65 GMT on leather, but would love to get it on a new stainless bracelet, especially with the hot weather.
