My favourite is the Colt 41 Automatic Image It's a really good size at 41mm diameter and only 10.70mm thick. The steel bezel looks amazing, as does the rail-track minute markers and the circle pattern on the dial!

That's rather smart Dean.

The Colt seems to be the archetypal go anywhere, do anything piece in the Breitling range. Dimensions will suit many wearers.

Happy hunting.

I snook down to the AD in Nottingham at lunch time to do a quick reconnaissance. I should get chance tomorrow lunchtime to carry out a full mission - that is, try a few on!

Surveillance photos taken at 12.40pm BST today, with the iphone, through the shop window:

I love the Colt range. I've come close to buying a Colt GMT before.

I also love the Navitimer range, and have come close to buying an old one of them before too!

It's only been my poverty that's held me back.

I must say, I've always liked the original style Navi's, however the Colt looks a really nicely proportioned watch too.

The 41mm Colt was on my hit list for a long time, but the blingy (If that’s even a word?!) polished bracelet I couldn’t live with. The new ones have brushed, which looks fantastic, but I don’t like the new style dial. The old style dial (pictured by Dean above) with the new brushed bracelet and it’d be very difficult to resist.

I did manage to try the Colt 41 on yesterday:

Image

Although I was originally interested in the black, the blue was perfect!! =P~

It was priced at £2740  I asked what I could have it for and they replied £2300. That amount of discount offered is more than I've ever paid for a watch!! 8-[

If you are seriously looking to buy I would speak with another AD and see if you can get more off, or push your AD a bit further. I've just been chatting to a UK AD who has offered 25% off a Superocean Heritage II B20 which I rarely see offers on.
Current collection incl Citizen, G-Shock, Rolex, Seiko, Sinn & Tag.

Looks fantastic mate  I'm presuming thats the polished bracelet? I can't tell with it having the protective film on it.

Weird how you can get the brushed with the 44mm, but not with the 41mm hey. How did you like it? Are you gonna go for one if you can get the right deal?

I really liked the watch, it's a great size at 41mm and less than 11mm thick is very good. Also the quality is very high and I like the pilot watch touches. I need to give it some thought as it's a lot of money. Also there may be some better deals around to investigate!!

I did watch this very good review of the watch this morning:

The Best Entry Level Automatic Luxury Watch? - The Breitling Colt 41 Review (Ref. A1738811)
