One of the best motorsport and British tie-ins going? Absolutely stunning.

It's a good looking watch, if slightly large. The watch roll is signed by a Scotsman too, the famous Jag car designer Ian Callum 8)

Indeed.

Did anyone see the Channel 4 documentary on the very limited edition Jags rolled out a few years ago? Bremont were commissioned to supply the watch as a special extra for each model sold.

According to Watchbase the movement is a Valjoux 7750

From the Bremont page:

MOVEMENT
Calibre 131/4’’’ BE-50AE automatic, 28 jewels, Glucydur balance, Anachron balance spring, Nivaflex 1 mainspring, 28,800bph, 42 hour power reserve. Miniaturised Jaguar D-Type steering wheel rotor.

So, basically a worked over Valjoux 7750.

One would have to assume these are all good and worthwhile improvements. Tough to beat the 7750 unless they went all out and put in a vertical clutch, column wheel job. Which they may not have access to and would surely add another 2-3000 to the price. Love the rotor.

It's a stunner. That said there's always the CW D-Type if funds to afford this aren't so readily available.

Couldn't agree more but then I LOVE Bremont watches and would kill for the Supersonic.

So, being a bit of a rookie in all things Bremont, tho becoming a huge fan very quickly, I had to look up the supersonic. Wow, the movement/bridge work on that thing is unlike anything I have ever seen. Can someone tell me more?
