Re: Uploading photos
Where in the process are you getting this?
Are you using the full editor box, and the 'attachments' tab and the 'add files' , 'Place inline' buttons? Or some other method? There's always time for one more.
Re: Uploading photos
Im using the full editor - add attachments - selecting the JPEG file which is saved on my hardrive. It the loads (green bar on the attachment status column) then the bar turns to a yellow triangle (attachment failed) and if i click on the triangle thats the error message that comes up.
Im wondering if there is a file size limit maybe?

Re: Uploading photos
Could be. I don’t think the forum software compresses images like Imgur &c. do.
If you have Photoshop try a simple edit and save the edited image as a lower resolution file. Might work.

Re: Uploading photos
Thanks for the replies guys. Ive just reduced one of the images down to a smaller file size and its worked so I think its must have been that. Need to resize the rest.

Re: Uploading photos
I had the same issue a few days ago when I was trying to upload a photo from my laptop's desktop screen; although routinely I use Tapatalk to upload and host my photos.
No apparent reason for the failure, and photo file size was not large. I think I just cancelled, tried again and it was OK.
To the best of my knowledge there is no file size limitations for photo size upload (within reason) in the forum software.
Tapatalk seems to have a 3MB limit.

Re: Uploading photos
The files were just over 5mb each, I reduced the size and they all worked. Maybe a 5mb limit.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote:I had the same issue...
