Beads of rice style bracelet
Hi all, been a while but have been lurking....
Do any of you know of a good aftermarket beads of rice style bracelet similar to the original Heuer style.. Ive been offered a Heuer 2003 re edition in Stiffert colours (panda style) but its on a well worn strap and whilst i generally prefer straps this particular watch looks much better on bracelet IMHO.
It doesnt have to be identical, just in the style of..
Ive looked at the obvious places online and previously tried one for my other Autavia re-edition (black/orange which I will sell if i go for this white one) some time ago but it was very light/flimsy/over polished and i returned it.
Thanks in advance for any ideas..

Have you checked out the one Watch gecko have?
WatchGecko Beads of Rice.
They also have end links available seperately, but they're hollow.

Thanks Ryan, have to admit i missed this one (wasnt available when i last looked some time ago). It looks quite good and the end pieces could be modded if required.
Have you or anyone else any experience of it, wrt weight/quality etc.
As an aside i like the look of the Geckota C-01 -V04 watch with Panda dial its pictured on too, shame its quartz but looks good value at price point.
Thanks again

P.S. in case you hadnt guessed i have a major thing for retro panda dials at the moment... Like the Longines heritage 1973, Autavia (shame about the piggy back chrono module) etc.
Appropriate strap/band can make or kill the overall aesthetic though!

I can highly recommend the C-01, I have one. Yes, its quartz, but the chrono does actually feel and behave much like a mechanical due to the VK64 Mecha Quartz in it. If you decide to give one a try you won't be disappointed in it, especially at the price (minus 10% with the usual code, obviously)

Aha, cunning plan.. buy the C-01 on BoR and see how bracelet looks on the Autavia for free before buying one...

Now theres the type of thing I'd do! - A plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel!

Thanks Ryan and TigerChris.. after looking around the web further and discounting a OEM for this watch (cost and prefer original BoR).
Going for the Watchgecko BoR and end links which ill mod to fit if required.

Being an excellent customer of WatchGecko ...TigerChris wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2019 1:29 pm Don't forget the code WATCHUSEEK will get you 10% off as its over £50
I have a code that gives you 10% off anything.
EDIT: I'm very sorry but, having been tested out, it appears that this code doesn't work anymore
