Heresy to say, but I may end up reaching the conclusion that this is a better all round, better value, better looking, more comfortable on a bracelet watch than a Submariner.

Neil
Looks great Neil sounds like your very happy with it. If it isn't too much trouble when you got your watch box out could you do a side by side with the north flag? Many thanks

It's a lovely watch Neil no doubt. I'd buy one in a shot if I didn't have the big brother BBN which I find very similar.

For me, I find the Sub a lovely slim, nicely sized and very comfortable watch I can wear all day long, as I did yesterday.

Equally I think the BBN, although slighly larger than the 58, to be a similarly decently proportioned watch. I also think they are quite different in looks to the Sub such that I definitely intend to keep both in my collection (as I am sure you likely will).
Which is why we all have different views in this strange hobby of ours! :)
- the SubC was one of the last Rolex I bought and probably the first I would sell (the only other I would think of selling being a Milgauss) and I would have said the same before buying the BB58, as I prefer the 14060M, although I don’t like the bracelet.
- I now think I prefer the BB58 to either of them.
- But I still prefer a few other Rolex to the BB58.
- Most of the Rolex that I prefer are discontinued, rather than current models.

Will do, although the NF is not at home with me at the moment.
