Manchester GTG - Chat with Chris - Saturday 27th April 2019

Post by Bahnstormer_vRS »

The next GTG - Chat with Chris will take place in Manchester 2:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturday 27th April 2019 at the Double Tree Hilton, Piccadilly

Move details to follow when know, but we learnt at the Edinburgh GTG that, as its launch will be fairly soon afterwards, details of the C60 Trident MkIII are likely to be released and discussed.

I know it is early days but if you are interested in attending please send me a PM (including your full name) so that I may keep tabs on numbers and update the list below;-

I know it’s probably too early to say, Guy, but I’ll ask anyway. Have you any idea if it will be morning or afternoon? We play Wigan away that day, 5pm kick off, so if the GTG is going to be an ‘am kick off’ I can make it. If it’s in the afternoon then I can’t as rugby always wins.

@TigerChris - I think it might be a case of 'Rugby wins' but I'll certainly let you know Chris, as soon as I am able, whether it is morning or afternoon.

Cheers Guy. Be a shame really as it’d work out quite well for me - across to Manchester then basically nip up the road to Wigan for the match. Could you possibly put me down as being interested in attending, obviously time dependant?

It will be quite a hike for me to get to Manchester, but I’m very keen to meet the three main men in the flesh and have a look at the new Trident. I’ve already got a C60 600 and A brace of C65s so I’m hoping to add a MK3 to the gang...

I was really looking forward to this, I’m in Leeds so it's not too far for me, However, I’ll be still on holiday in Florida. Not sure the wife or kids will allow me to cancel! I’m sure everyone who attends the GTG will have a great time.

Looks like I have a work commitment that weekend. Probably as well, Norfolk to Manchester is a pretty horrible drive.

I'm not going to be there as NJ to Manchester is a bit of a hike. Is there going to be a video portion? If so, can I make an early plea for YouTube? I'd love to hear about the C60 Mk III and whilst video isn't as good as being there in person, or a trip to the showroom, it would help. Getting good video of a watch isn't easy and so this might require some planning.
Thanks

I anticipate that, as with the Edinburgh GTG, the 'Chat with Chris' will be live streamed on YouTube with improvements to sound quality.
