Re: C65 Trident Diver Automatic
Khaki wasn’t mentioned, but there was a blue dial GMT. (I think I can say that)
Trying not to buy any more watches...

Re: C65 Trident Diver Automatic
Thanks for the reply. I think the blue dial GMT would look sharp, but I'm not sure about getting two blue dialed, C65 CW watches since I have the C65 Trident Diver in blue (which I think is a wonderful color). On the other hand, I would have straps that already match!
Best regards,
John

Now that I like very much
...and would fit in very nicely between my C65 Trident Bronze and my C65 Trident GMT
Re: C65 Trident Diver Automatic
Still in between "this is so cool, must have one" and "looks and feels like an Oris 65 Divers copy". It is about half the price so that's tempting. Don't want to mention the L-word..
Looks good in blue though..

Is it just me or is this watch going to win a lot of friends for the brand? I have to admit to being tempted....Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Mon Jan 21, 2019 11:04 amOops, not specific enough.gaf1958 wrote:Bahnstormer_vRS wrote:The C65 Trident Diver (handwound) uses exactly the same case as the C65 Trident Automatic. Thanks Guy. Same case with the same caseback.
CW deliberately made the C65 case and caseback for the automatic. With the handwound, there is therefore some room to spare.

Good to see you on here again.
To answer your question, I think Yes.
I particularly like the blob markers inherited from the MkI Trident along with the slimmer bezel.
Roll on a Khaki version (hopefully).

I believe it will. I posted pics of the blue over at watchuseek, trying to get the word out.tikkathree wrote:Is it just me or is this watch going to win a lot of friends for the brand? This one seems to morph a unique CW offering with a lot of the check boxes enthusiasts look for in a watch. And personally, I think the round markers with baton 3/6/9/12 looks killer. The side shot showing off the case finishing and dial depth is a killer. I can hear our friends who cannot afford another purchase (like me!) watch sighing and shuffling now.

Re: C65 Trident Diver Automatic
With the round applied indices this is creeping ever closer to the last generation Seamaster SMP. If the lume were white and not vintage then it would be closer still. With the vintage lume I think this is one I'm going to have to see IRL to be sure if I want it or not (initial must buy response not withstanding).

I'm not usually a fan of vintage lume, but it seems to work with the blue model here. Not so much the black mind you.

The "pre-order" is gone from the website so it looks like these are shipping now. Looking forward to see the pictures and impressions.

Re: C65 Trident Diver Automatic
This looks great on the brown strap, but I've got a feeling it will look good on the bracelet in the metal.
Downer's rules say buy on the bracelet...
Hard decisions!

I've just mentioned on the other C65 Trident Automatic thread that I'm going to view these at the Showroom on Tuesday.

^^^^^ Looking forward to your comments Mikkei.
I’ll have to go back there as I’m stuck between the C65 trident diver and the auto version. I’m leaning towards the trident diver at the moment so will be interested to hear which one you think is nicer.
