Thought I'd start a seperate thread for this instead of muddying the sale thread.
I received this from the current 50% off sale. It's a C60 Trident 300 with the 2nd generation logo but has a ceramic bezel instead of the usual aluminium bezel. I think it looks a lot better than the aluminium bezel, so am certainly not complaining.
I assumed the bezel inserts were not cross-compatible, but it looks like they are. Perhaps they had a spare watch case sans-bezel, and a spare bezel which they've put together to create a sort of hybrid? Anyone else seen this happen before?
Wonder what other "mods" we could make. Wouldn't mind an auto Trident with orange bezel

Wow, that is a rare combo; I didn’t think they could share parts either. The ceramic looks so much nicer than the aluminum, IMHO

I'm torn on bezels as I prefer the look of aluminium in some cases, but the scratch resistance etc.. of the ceramic. Example would be my Black Bay, I just can't see it looking as good with a ceramic bezel - the aluminium suits it.

Re: C60 Trident 300 Quartz - with a ceramic bezel
One of my first CW watches was a Trident diver with an aluminium bezel. It needed a service and, while I was discussing this with them, I asked if upgrading the bezel insert to ceramic would be a possibility. I was told that they would only exchange like-for-like, even down to the colour.
This was three years ago or so, perhaps their opinions (or parts compatibility) have changed?
Personally, I’d love a quartz C60 600 with the stick hour markers etc of the auto, it’s a shame that don’t offer this. Yet...?
