I was thinking the same thing. I didn't order anything this time around, but was very nice to see the website hold up.Thegreyman wrote: ↑Thu Jan 03, 2019 8:55 pm I don't know if anyone has said it already, however good to see the website holding up robustly to the challenge of the volume of sales traffic

The auto tridents really are a watch for life as they probably could be maintained forever with them using a eta/selita movements , i’ll have one one day !
think if they made something along the lines of a tudor black bay 36 or explorer 1 36mm auto id happily pay £600 + for one i think the 36mm size is perfect for me .

Have you looked at the 38mm C65 vintage? Im sure CW add more watches to the sale once they’ve sold a few?TigerChris wrote:Have you looked at the 38mm C65 vintage? It has been know before. If you are looking for a non bezel smallish size with decent WR then the old case C65 vintage takes some beating.Jasemh wrote: ↑Thu Jan 03, 2019 9:17 pmIm sure CW add more watches to the sale once they’ve sold a few?TigerChris wrote:Have you looked at the 38mm C65 vintage? Re: January Sale 2019
Saw my next CW a C65 Trident Diver on oak strap in NN section.
Pondered, went back on link 5 minutes later and it’d gone. Oh well, will get one in good time. A £200 saving would’ve been nice but not the end of the world. Will get one, probably around springtime.
Question. Although new C65’s are tipped to be released in the spring will the current C65 trident diver remain on their product list? Or discontinued?
Don’t wanna miss out on one that’s all.

Re: January Sale 2019
I think it’s the C60’s that are due a refresh, not the C65. The current C65’s are a recent addition so I don’t think you have anything to worry about thereEssex Paul wrote: ↑Thu Jan 03, 2019 9:24 pm Saw my next CW a C65 Trident Diver on oak strap in NN section.

Re: January Sale 2019
It held up but I wouldn't describe it as robust. There were times I thought it was about to keel over - particularly around 11.30 EST or 16.30 GMT. It didn't, so not a disaster but the website was definitely 'challenged'. Still, an improvement over previous sales.Thegreyman wrote: ↑Thu Jan 03, 2019 8:55 pm I don't know if anyone has said it already, however good to see the website holding up robustly to the challenge of the volume of sales traffic

And they start to appear on eBay already. That must be some kind of record.
Trying not to buy any more watches...

Unfortunately, I've only got screenshots of what I had on screen at the time.Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Thu Jan 03, 2019 2:29 pm I've got screen shots of ALL pages taken between 13:09 and 13:12 and will post them up during this afternoon, once the hubbub has died down.
Meanwhile off to see what else I can buy.
Guy
I have now realised that I got just the 'initial display' of a page, and not the 'full display' achieved once you've scrolled down to get all items.
Apologies.
Nevertheless, what I have may be of help so here it is;-

40% OFF WATCHES
30% OFF WATCHES

Compared to the recent prototype sale, it was extremely robustFloridaPhil wrote: ↑Thu Jan 03, 2019 9:39 pmIt held up but I wouldn't describe it as robust.
