Ombré by far for me.

Not an option though

Two LEs on the list but not the best one. Bizarre list...

I voted for the C7 Apex as the most significant....

However the C65 GMT would be my personal favorite of the models introduced this year. It will be my next CW...at some point...I hope.

C65 Trident Diver - I don't own one and I prefer the C60 but the C65 Diver has been a huge success for CW almost outselling the C60 (told to me in CW showroom). If this has helped CW sell more watches then it's a significant watch.

I voted for the C65 Trident Bronze...a stunning watch but also because I think it is significant, in the watch industry, that CW has it's own in-house movement.
However, I do agree with Mark's comment that the C65 Trident Diver has been a huge success for CW which makes it a significant watch.

I would have gone for the Ombré, until they swapped the red text for white (just noticed its not an option anyway - why??). The C65 Diver isn’t for me as its no date, although it is a fantastic looking watch. The C65 GMT fails for me due to the oversized GMT hand. So, I’m with Strapmeister on this one - C65 SH21 Bronze gets my vote. It’s not perfect as I think hand wound would benefit from a power reserve, but apart from that it ticks most boxes for me to think its the most significant release of 2018. I’m just waiting for the steel version with auto movement on bracelet if CW ever think about making one.

Very hard question ....
As a matter of fact I didn't realize CW launched so many new models this year.
I understand the c65 (and its declinations) is a witty and incentive new line, although my vote has gone to the 595. Mainly because it's an open door to the happy few brands able to offer true dress, divers and sporty with a different identity for each.

I like both the Ombré and the C65 bronze but think the standard C65 diver deserves watch of the year. Only thing stopping me buying one is I already have the similar Oris 65 40mm (but still managed to justify the purchase of the GMT version :D).

C65 Diver for me too. The GMT is also great, but the first of the line gets my vote. By the way, looking forward to the pepsi GMT variant next year. Could well be a new winner for CW.

C65 Trident SH21 for me, or the C60 Ombre with red text if it was listed.
Only 68 votes, which seems a poor show for a growing forum and brand imho.
Current collection incl Citizen, G-Shock, Rolex, Seiko, Sinn & Tag.

^^^Possibly a poor show, but we don’t really know who has or hasn’t voted apart from those who commented.

I suspect that a lot of people don’t bother if it looks like there will be a runaway winner.

While I have often wondered why vote counts are minimal, the numbers are very consistent with prior years.

How do these numbers compare with the number of completed CW Surveys? Have there been surveys in previous years? I cannot remember.

I must get around to both myself :D

OK I've voted, apologies for my tardiness in not doing so previously.

I re-read Kip's explanation of the voting criteria as I had previously skimmed through it or assumed the criteria (incorrectly) for voting.

As many others have I've voted for the C65 Trident Diver. Without even seeing 1 in the flesh it seems to have moved CW into the next level of watch design, production, looks and value for money. It's also a great base for derivative versions, e.g. the GMT, small seconds etc, and looks great on bracelet and straps.

Sadly I won't be buying 1 unless they bring out a version that'll enable the name logo not to be left-justified at 9o'clock, like maybe a 3 sub-dial version especially if it's in the blue. Unless that happens it means paying for other brand options of 3x the £s for the new Seiko GS Quartz GMT or 6x for the 2 sub dialled Omega Speedmaster.
