I do sometimes wonder if I am missing out by not having a Sub in my collection. Perhaps I should do some serious investigation?

You should probably try one out Guy for size. Although at 40mm maybe a little small for your tastes? Your pre-Xmas sale could lay the foundation for an X into 1 consolidation?

Guy...I'm aligned. If a Submariner were to come into the collection it would be Thegreyman's cyclops free version!!
Discussion continued in my A quintet of Subs . . . topic.

Man, that’s a really nice interpretation of the Day Date. I had an old Tudor DD Jumbo - loved the look, but hated the lack of a quickset calendar.

Very classy. Congrats!

I discovered something interesting last night - in the dark a freshly lumed Seaforth looks *much* larger than it does in daylight. Odd...

That looks great on the bracelet - glad it’s found a good home with you Gary.

Very happy with it Roger, both the orange and the pastel blue have made a definite home for themselves in my collection...

Thanks Roger. I agree it is a classy looking watch. I said at the time that if you can't afford a Rolex Day Date (I can't!) then this was a marginally cheaper alternative

Despite preferring batons to round hour markers, not being a huge fan of the cyclops, thinking that in general Rolex watches lug shoulders are too big and also not being able to afford these I still want one. I must be crazy.

Seiko SH007. I retain an affection for this watch despite it not really fitting my ethos because of the multi-layer dial and its practicality as every day wear.
