'Nearly New' and '30% offf' prices

Post by Rev »

Is it me, or do the prices in the clearance section of the website keep changing? It seems that every time I go in they are different?

There’s an intermittent glitch that sometimes shows the prices minus vat. The vat reappears at checkout so don’t get over excited at the apparent 20% discount! :?

The key to recognising the glitched price is when it is not a round number i.e. not £695, £450, £1,250 etc.

Ahhh shame. I thought it might have been some fancy algorithm that dropped the price on number of visits 🤔

Haha, some of us here would be getting paid by CW to take the watches if that were the case... Image

I think that was my one, I purchased one a couple, of weeks back in the nearly new section but sent it back, love the 38mm size but felt it was to thick without a bracelet

The Trident case is very chunky for certain straps, I had the same trouble (but am not keen on bracelets generally) before settling on a CW rubber strap which also works well.

I generally prefer a bracelet tbh, so long as it's good quality. I like my watches to feel chunky and weighty - especially if I've paid a lot for them! The only exception is dress watches where thin, streamlined and minimal are the order of the day to slip under a shirt cuff.
