C60 bronze strap

Post by Christoperjc »

Hello all cw fans,
I've just purchased a cw c60 bronze which I love, my question is does anyone have any input on a nice strap to put on it ? I've got the cw blie canvas strap which I'm not overly pleased with. Thanks in advance.

Which size one do you have - 38mm or 43mm?
Makes a difference as the lug width is either 20mm and 22mm respectively.

Size dependent, I have a couple of nice brown leather straps that would work.

I've been fiddling with this for a while. My problem is that whilst I'm happy with the watch getting patinated, the blue canvas strap just looked too rubbish, too quickly.
On the other hand, there's no point in having a shiny alligator strap on a 'well used' looking bronze watch. I don't like natos, and I do like the Bader clasp.

So, for now I'm using a rustic looking brown leather. Looks fine to me.

I think a canvas strap would look great on that. Check Clover Straps for some reasonably priced custom options.

Straps are awesome though.

He is a close friend of mine, I have worn his first strap he ever made, as an experiment. It was ... 5-6 years ago. He went a long way since then.

Thanks for all your replies.
It's the 43mm size. Paul that has nice patina developing there and looks nice on the strap, I agree about the blue canvas cw strap looks a little washed out and does no Justice to the watch. I have since had a nice new blue leather with orange sticking custom made, the strap I thinks looks nice with this watch, it's also very comfy.
Some reason I can't add a picture ?
