Having seen that one for real it was not a colour combo that I found appealing.

However, the C65 Diver is a beautiful watch and I am completely smitten with my blue one.

It's not bad at all, but I reckon it might have looked better with a stainless insert.
I will say that these C65s are best judged in person.
The case is a absolute stonker!

Slightly off topic, but it'd be nice to see CW carry this green dial over to the C65 vintage model (and the blue).
That's crying out for another dial variant.

Dream on, Patrick. Image

My C65 Trident Diver P'type is the 'one that got away' having a green dial and khaki bezel; as opposed to khaki dial and black dial on the production model.

As for the production model being more olive green than khaki, having seen the production model in the metal, I will advocate that the colour of the dial is pretty true to being khaki.

I like it and have the quandary as to get one as well as my prototype. :problem:

Guy
Well I was kind of right, you did have a green dialled C65 Trident Diver :)

I had no idea they were bringing out this variant. From the photos, I think I prefer yours Guy to the stock model.

two things...
It's green.
Guy's one off is much nicer in my eyes and the one they should have made

I really like it, but will probably have to part with my mk2 khaki (olive green) bezel trident if I’m going to buy.

It's a nice watch but as others have pointed out it's not Khaki, it's olive drab. But I presume you can't call say with any panache "The art of camouflage ~ Our latest C65 Trident Diver goes olive drab" In any case it's a good looking watch as the entire C65 Trident line is (I have two).
Omega Speedmaster, Bulova Accutron Gemini, Tudor Black Bay Heritage Maroon & Black, C65 Trident Bronze SH21 LE, C65 Trident Black, C65 Trident Diver SH21, C65 Trident Ombre LE, Longines HydroConquest beautiful AF and better than C60 300

Somewhat of a high-jack
I see you have a C65 Trident Bronze SH21 - I'd be very interested in your opinions on it please.

I quite like it, but I'll wait for the inevitable orange dial version... mmm how about a nice deep burnt orange colour with a black bezel...

Quick frankly I think it's a fantastic watch, I am really glad I bought it. I think the patina is developing a little more slowly than the C60 Pro 600 but no matter. I took my C60 Pro 600 swimming in the ocean soon after purchase and that sped up the patina process.

Alternative take on the olive drab.

A nice watch but the CW is better made and with a better strap.

Like many here, I prefer Guy's version although I wouldnt mind the production one either. Will hopefully have a chance to view in person before purchasing.
