Someone when to the showroom and this is what Chris himself said:

Chris said that a Trident MK3 is due out in May.
Teasers were, refined hands, losing the wave dial for either Matt or Ceramic dial (still experimenting) better lume and an overall subtle refresh.

I personally think that I will hold out and curiously see what CW come out with with what I've heard.

I recall the lume will be “200% better” from the last Chat with Chris. Members with more of their faculties left will confirm or deny.

Anyone heard if the next version might be thinner? I'm always lusting after these, but the 38mm just looks way too thick for that case diameter in my opinion.

I wonder if that's because they're replacing the shiny infilled battons on the Mk1 and Mk2 with the solid lume batons as per the current bronze and Ombre versions and therefore have a larger volume of lume material.

Thicker and more surface area, including the bezel IIRC.

I don't think it is - I've had mine since they were first released and until very recently has been my go to watch and it got lots of admiring comments.
For me it's the better size.

IIRC the next version will still be 38mm or 42mm and I can't imagine it being any thinner.
