Thanks Guy I've thought about it a bit more now and think it would be more of a whim and regret purchase. I've gone back to thinking about a mako

I have this, but not on me, it is waiting for me in AZ, and that is one of the things I dream about. :wink:

Frank, I borrowed your photo and I must say that is one fine Oris ProPilot, I am looking forward to it. :clap:

Not generally a Seiko fan, but these two have been rattling around up there for a few days now. Both are limited editions.

I found a good deal on the PR version, which is incoming, and have a line (though a less good deal) on the three-hander.

Bit of a punt buying unseen, but all the online pics are gorgeous and I hope the dial lives up to them. ImageImage

She’s gorgeous. Seiko is really doing nice things, especially their dials.
I only had cheap Seiko 5 but one day I’ll buy a nice one like yours.

Thought about breaking my one watch policy to get this;

but have so far resisted the temptation. Probably need to stop looking at it.

^^^ I don’t think anyone would blame you in the least, Ian. It’s a stunner.

It's a fantastic model, but a few years old now, I think from 2013 - or has it been updated?. Have you thought about pre-owned?

Can get a new one and have the funds, just hesitant as to how much I'd wear it in preference to my AT. Will most likely stick at one watch and spend the money on something else.

I set my heart on one of these a few years ago. What put me off in the end was the height. It is roughly a foot tall. A gorgeous watch if you dont mind the extreme chunkiness
