These are suggested specifications and designs and I am sure there will be debate on what it should or shouldn't have. This is just my wish list.
- 39 to 41mm
- light-weight: about 80g for head only and 150g on bracelet
- low height: prefer 11mm or less but 12mm is ok.
- very legible during the day and night
- CW word mark or twin flags at 12
- no rotating bezel or fixed bezels with any markings.
- some antimagnetic, antishock and low/high temperature operating range
- Selitta or ETA movement
- regular lug shapes so you can easily change bracelets and 2-piece/nato straps
- unobtrusive but legible date window
- reasonable water resitance for swimming, rafting, kayaking, snorkeling etc so 10 bar or higher.
- should be mostly toolish looking but some shiny bits like polished surfaces and dial elements are ok
- bracelet with sliding mechanism in buckle
- some kind of case hardening to keep it looking nice for a long time
- case design and hands same as the C65 but smaller
Somewhere between this and your latest offering, perhaps with numerals @ 3, 6, 9, and 12.
Date window?
Sounds like with the vote numbers we are looking at, it's a FLE proposal!
Enough said!

You're looking for an Archimede Outdoor with a CW logo?

Yes, something very similar. Thanks for mentioning that one.
I looked at the Outdoor before but is just a bit undersized for me at 38.5mm and 18mm lug width. I think their bracelets and straps are 20mm though. It has a thin bezel so probably wears just fine. Not a huge fan of that case shape. The sand color dial version is my favorite.

I like the idea of a go anywhere watch like this. Could put Sinn 556 in there also?
I am leaning towards a c65 GMT for travel, all round watch at the moment.

Re: Casual, elegant and rugged CW explorer watch
I think the real win here for CW is all about pricing. You have your Tudor’s, Rolex, and Omega all in the sky. Sinn 556 and Archimede are fairly high priced too (~€1000). Then you have some Certinas/Tissots that are ok in the €200-400 range. There’s Seiko’s and Citizens and the Alpha that scratch an itch for some in the lower tiers too.
If they can bring something to market in the €500ish range that has the high CW quality and design, it could fit nicely into the gap of what’s out there today. I think a quartz version could do well also, BTW.

Re: Casual, elegant and rugged CW explorer watch
I really like the look of the Tudor BB36 and the Rolex Explorer, a similar watch from CW would be nice to see, but care would need to be taken for it not to look too much like a homage. The shape of the Rolex and Tudor is more elongated and looks better in my opinion, but I do really like the C65 Vintage 38mm.

Love the green edit ^... I have the c65 classic MK2 43mm as it was as close as I could get to what you describe. I would prefer something smaller on a fully brushed strap like the 38mm model but 'vintage' lume isn't my cup of tea.

Alert: 3 year old thread revival.
It took almost 3 years but good to see the Adventurer dream finally became reality as the Sealander. The images in the first post were made before the introduction of the C60 Mk3 the new handset was not available at that time. Dial is from the Dartmouth as it was the only watch at the time with the word mark at 12.
But now the dilemma is.. should I get a Sealander GMT or Automatic. And in which color? Or wait for other colors that will certainly follow. Anyways.. this was a fun discussion and as was said before, you never know what will happen when you dream something up on social media.
There was a lot of interest in a sports watch like this in 2018, even though some found it not original and just copying other watches from established brands. Fast forward to 2021 and now it seems to be quite popular..
There was an attempt for a bespoke LE watch but that never became reality either. Too bad because the good people at CW (Chris, Mike and Adrian) put in quite some time and created these images and ready-to-go design for us. A GMT with a modern dial and hands, word mark at 12 and date at 6 just wasn't able to get enough supporters.
This image was created just over a year ago. I didn't bother with putting the word mark at 12 and date at 6 because we pretty much gave up on this at the time. Who knew this would happen in 2021..??
Now it is just waiting for a blue dial Sealander...
Green GMT would be pretty awesome.

Re: Casual, elegant and rugged CW explorer watch
Mike F pretty much confirmed that a green GMT is coming. I’d like to see a deeper BRG than the mock-ups above; the orange GMT hand will complement it perfectly.

Personally I'd love that no-date middle version with the 12, 3, 6, 9 at 41mm and a ~$500 price tag
