The watch really hasn’t a lume to speak of, the markers are fluorescent yellow and glow as it is.

There has been a phenomenal response to this watch on the Facebook Group and with the coments made here it would seem this watch may have proved very popular if it had gone into production.

I’ve had a few requests to buy, sorry it’s not for sale. My intention will be to gift it.

That’s very generous of you Richard, I’ll be most appreciative of it when I receive it. I’d better make sure you have my address details correct...

@Richard D - appreciate your comments on lume.

I wonder if it responds in the same way as my Dodane 1857 Type 23 Quartz i.e. Go into a dark room and you see nothing, but switch on a black light and the yellow illuminates.

Very different to anything I’ve seen before. Looks cool. Good on CW for experimenting. Congrats!

Took your advice and yes that’s exactly what happens.

.... but you do in an Aircraft cockpit, which is what my Dodane is designed for.

Probably a bit tenuous to use it on a Diver, but hey Jo, if you can, why not?

Now, if CW was to use luminous yellow (black light sensitive) on a C8 PR?

^^^ Just imagining you and Richard wandering over to a kitchen drawer and rummaging around for that black light that must surely be around here somewhere! You made it sound so “normal” when 99% of those reading this post know IT ISN’T!

@Thermexman - have no fear Steve, there's plenty else for you to be worried about.
