I think you'll find that Omega did it about 5 years ago.

Yes, the vintage lume is getting a bit overplayed.

Modern version with smaller GMT hand in muted orange.

Yes, the vintage lume is getting a bit long in the tooth.

Modern version with smaller GMT hand in muted orange.

Looks better than the released version IMO - Frank, please could you do me a favour and show your version with the blue colour of the dial from the C65 Trident Diver if it's not a major piece of work for you?

I know it's been said before but CW should pass their designs past you before final versions are decided upon.

True, but I’d like to see it freshened up for a lot less!

Dude if you did this I love it! I copied it from somewhere here in one of these forums it’s been a while but I loved it when I saw it and had to save it in case I could never find it again. I actually sent a copy to Chris and begged him to consider this! I’d definitely purchase one with the 2893-2!

Credit where credit is due my brother! Awesome rendering!

One small minor detail I would add is the second hand needs a lollipop lume pip on it.

I tried but turning black (no color really) into a real color is not that easy in the software I use. So for now you have to use your imagination.

How about smaller GMT hand and with the vintage CW logo?

Thanks for explaining the problem re.the blue.
CW will never go back to the previous logo - To be honest I don't mind the font of the new name but want it centre-justified at 12 because IMO it's wrong being left-justified at 9 and doesn't suit my need for symmetry with "Christopher" being so much longer than "Ward".

I would buy that.

But I wouldn’t buy the one that has just been released.

That mock rendition would be awaiting dispatch from me if they went with that design! Also love the Pepsi version you mocked up. They need you on the design team stat looks like things are going off the rails this season!

CW has some nice watches. Too bad it is suffering from identity crisis due to its lack of distinctive logo

How come?

Since the switch to their current v_3 logo, CW sales have broadly increased. I don't see how that would work if they were suffering an identity crisis.

Additionally, I'm confident that CW know who they are and are moving the brand in the direction they want to.

Identity Crisis?? Whether you like the logo or whether you don’t, it is no identity crisis. Chris W has explained the rationale and thinking behind the logo and it is a clear direction that they wish to go in. Hardly an identity crisis is it?
