If it helps, read 'daily wearer' as opposed to 'beater'.

It does indeed help but now someones registered a Tudor Pelagos as a beater too.

I think I'm safe, probably a few years until you work your way down the list to my collection. Wouldn't be worth your petrol.

When I had a chat with my AD a few weeks back, they said they've not had a 2018 DSSD in yet, allocation has been cut again and Rolex are now working 24 Hrs, which they've never done before apparently. I don't think I'll see or be offered one for a while.
Last spoke to him about a month ago, Chris, and he reckons end of September. I'm number one on his growing list so the first one he gets is mine. They are a big AD (David M Robinson) so they should be high on the AD list with Rolex when they do start shipping them to the UK.

I keep telling myself it won't be long!!

How many watches currently in your collection: 30ish.
The most popular brand in your collection and how many: CW (13).
Your current 'best' watch: Depending on the "best" significance. The most expensive at the time was a TH Kirium F1.
Your 'regret' watch that you sold and regretted: Never regretted a sale.
Your 'beater' watch(es): A bunch of Casios living in the boat, in the workshop and ready in the rucksack, a Tisell diver, a Seiko Skx013 and a couple of Vostok Amphibians.
Your 'best buy' watch: All the digital Casios I had to buy over the years.
Your biggest disappointment watch: A CW C5 MkII (misaligned and case sides polished).
Your most accurate automatic watch: Probably a CW Trident GMT.
What's your favourite CW model: The C60 38mm series (I own 7 and love them all) and the C65 Vintage.
Your next watch: None decided at this moment. I was craving for the 38mm C60 Trident Bronze but once unveiled I was disappointed about its overall design.

TBH it’s a perfect beater, light, easy to read, with a great bracelet (with that brilliant clasp) and pretty much ‘bombproof’

Plus It flies below the radar for non WIS too, so never a concern.

The only reason it isn’t in Cyprus is my travel insurance won’t cover it and my BLNR at the same time, and I ‘need’ a GMT for Cyprus, don’t I?

How many watches currently in your collection: 23

The most popular brand in your collection and how many: CW (8)

Your current 'best' watch: Omega Aqua Terra Skyfall, but as that’s being serviced at present then I’d also suggest my Zenith El Primero 1969 38mm

Your 'regret' watch that you sold and regretted: My blue and white C6s. I should have kept them and extended them into a full coloured C6 collection, a bit like my C70 GPs. Also, my Halios Tropik B, which I should have kept.

Your 'beater' watches: Citizen Promaster, Tissot V8, Casio Gshock, Casio World Timer

Your 'best buy' watch: C1 Russell (% terms), Rolex Sea Dweller (£ terms)

Your biggest disappointment watch: Sinn 556i, Steinhart Ocean 44 GMT Pepsi

Your most accurate automatic watch: Rolex Explorer or Zenith El Primero

What's your favourite CW model: C8 Power Reserve (except for its size).

Your next watch: Halios Seaforth Pastel Blue on order (like everyone else!), C60 Yellow (if I decide to get the damaged one I was sent exchanged rather than refunded), CWE LE C60 at the end of the year, possibly the C65 GMT if it doesn’t have vintage lume, or maybe an Aussie watch on SC that I’m trying to ignore!

Your 'beater' watch: G Shock AWG-M100-1AER

Your 'best buy' watch: Oris Staghorn

Your biggest disappointment watch: Seiko Samurai

Your most accurate automatic watch: CW C65 Classic

What's your favourite CW model: C60 Trident GMT 600

Your next watch: Probably C65 GMT (unless I can scrape enough quick funds together for Gary's Damasko currently in SC, but doubtful)
