Never. But like others have said, fond remarks on my C11 Orange and black Makira.

Just been to my local Mercedes dealer (Cheshire) and have noticed the sales manager was wearing red trident :)
We had a quick chat about it. This was first time ever I have seen anyone else wearing CW watch.

Unfortunately for me I'd never heard of CW until yesterday when a colleague told me about them.
Now I want one...

Nine people in a pub last week, all wearing the same watch brand, including a bloke with his name on the dial.

Mind you, they were 4 people who work at CWT plus your friendly admin team, so only strangers in the sense that a number of us had not met before in person.

That really doesn't count at all. I do wonder if that counts as a CW in public record though. How big have the GTGs been and did everyone wear a CW? COuld be a new thread....

I am yet to see someone with one on. Since getting into watches I have really started to take notice of what people are wearing on their wrist, on the underground to and from work.

It would be cool to see one, but I also like that it feels we are part of an exclusive club that not everybody knows about yet.

Ok, is there anyone on here that uses a little family jeweller in Ripley, Derbyshire (I don’t know if I’m allowed to put their name?). I used them for a new battery in a quartz rotary that I figured I should wear now and again and was wearing my Trident GMT. He said that he has a couple of customers that have them and love them. The guy was a collector himself so I pointed him in the direction of the website and filled him in on a few details, of which he was quite impressed at the spec levels for the money and the finishing quality on mine. Are those couple of customers on here?

Edit: I have just received a nice message from Steve (AVO) telling me that I can name them as its good to let people know the names of reliable repairers etc.. So, its Whites Fine Jewellers on Oxford Street Ripley. The guys name is Steve and I can recommend him to anyone in that area.

Having owned my CW C70 GE for several months now I have yet to see anyone else wearing a CW watch in the street or elsewhere. I have always had a major interest in watches and do tend to notice certain brands when I am out and about - mainly the likes of Rolex, Omega and Breitling etc. However, on a trip to Bath this weekend I finally spotted a gentleman wearing a C9 Harrison Chrono! A lovely looking watch indeed!

Do other members spot CWs on the wrists of strangers when they are out and about?

I’ve seen 3 others with cw watches, always a good excuse to talk about watches.

I live in Oregon. I rarely even see a mechanical piece. Most people wear no watch, an Apple watch, or a fashion watch.

It's always refreshing to even see a Seiko 5 in the wild. I've had nice conversations with strangers because it is kind of a small world over here. I'm sure there's a lot I don't notice.. but in my particular circle of work and activities, I've never seen CWs.
