Loupe Magazine Delivery.

Post by Stanley »

Has the last Loupe magazine been delivered?
I sent an e-mail to C.W Customer service on 26th November as the last issue I received was 05 Summer 2017, as no response received I thought the Forum members may be able to provide me with delivery details.

Seems like you are out in the cold.

We've had Issue 06 - Autumn 2017 and Issue 07 - Winter 2017 since your last one; available to read on CWL's website of course.

Might be worth subscribing to their mailing list again and also Ordering a copy of Loupe

Good luck.

Many thanks for the information, I sent two more e-mails to customer service but no response!, looks as though I will have to spend some money and telephone them, thought it was an easy question to answer and resolve by just putting the two copies in the post!.

whether you get the magazine seems to be a bit random. I have been on the mailing list for a while now and have not received the last 3, perhaps it time to re-register.

Were these direct emails or did you use the Ordering a copy of Loupe I suggested?

I sent two direct e-mails, then used your advice and finally went onto the official C W Site and clicked onto their contact us, but still no response. I have every issues since the first and disappointed that missing the last two.

Hi Stan, if you don’t get a response from CW, pm me and let me know and I’ll post you the last two copies for your collection. It wouldn’t be until after Chrimbo though, as they are on a pile at work and I’m now off until the 27th. Let me know.

Stan I had issues stopped being delivered it took me around a year to realise, so I simply telephoned CWL and they reinstated deliverys again, I'm sure it's something they do based on how long you purchased directly with CWL was over a certain time period,

Long and short telephone them and get reinstated ;)

Some time back (early/mid December when this topic was originated) I completed the Ordering a copy of Loupe on CWL's website.

Copy of the latest issue of Loupe arrived in the post this week in an envelope direct from CWL, not from their printer/distributor in cellophane wrapper. I also received my 'mailing list' copy a week or so ago.

System works; albeit a bit slowly.

If anyone would like a copy of Loupe (issue 08, Spring 2018) I'm happy to forward it on, just PM your address details to me please.

Was it just mine or did the Loupe magazines smell really terrible out of the plastic packaging? This is the first one I have received. I removed the cellophane wrap and threw it in my dresser to read later, but the next day all my clothes stunk like moth balls or something.

I hadn't received the CW magazines for ages, so a couple of days ago I tried re-registering for it on the CW site. It kept disallowing me, so eventually I gave up and emailed customer service. Got an email from them today confirming that a magazine would be in the post.

My copy smelled! Reminded my of stacks of old books in a library or used book store. Glad to hear it wasn’t just mine.

The Loupe magazine having a smell is not new and certainly not restricted to same. CW informs me that all print has an aroma, this is generally the oils in the ink, without the oils the ink would not dry – and all of our inks are vegetable based.

My copy always seems to take about 3 weeks to get here by which time all the discussion on the board about it is over. Hope it drops on the mat soon.
