Am I becoming a reactionary old man?!

Why can't they incorporate the guilloche design of the Mk1? It's gorgeous!
Time is what prevents everything from happening at once.

Like that... The indents either side of the window could be a bit shorter but overall a really nice watch, particularly in black with mesh. Always liked the JH's and I could've seen myself buying that :(

I like the new look. I wonder if the price will stay the same or if it will be more expensive now that the prices have increased. Also it appears the link does not work anymore. Glad we got an image grab of the new design.

I actually like the look of this watch

The one on the right (light grey face) would be a good addition to my collection - I suppose I'll have to wait a few months until they're half price!! :silent:

I have the MkII Jumping Hour and looking at them both side by side, at the risk of opening an old wound, the new logo makes the dial look lop sided.

I still like the new JH tho, particularly the light grey dial version.

Truly, we all have different tastes.

I think that looks awful. I much preferred the older versions of the JH.

Note that I quite like the new C5.

Seems the link to the article in ABTW no longer works!

Maybe the watch is not yet ready for launch?

I don't know why both C1s and the new Malverns have these alternate embossed indexes. That is the one feature I can't get past. Some lovely features, but the indexes are a real problem for me.

Now you've pointed that out - I hadn't noticed  - I agree it does blemish an otherwise lovely looking watch

The indexes are not embossed. They are actually cutouts in the dial.

The new FLE apparently won't have them, so something to look out for.

Sorry Kip - yes wrong word. I don't know why they have done the alternate indexes though - maybe to make the dial "sparkle"....which is fine - on one design - but not all of them!

"Raised" was the word I was looking for! Alternate raised indexes.
