CW pump faked and broke my heart by email! Thanks Wera

Post by Benbull »

Ever since I found out about this watch is have wanted one. I truly am very unhappy and don't know which way to go I need to breathe for a couple hours so I don't make any bad decisions. This is the email I woke up to this morning

Dear Mr. "Your stupid for thinking we would ever let you buy the watch that would make your life worth living"

I am truly sorry to have to give you some bad news on this particular order.

We only had 6 pieces to sell, and the stock management system for this model did not work. Normally the stock counts down as we sell the pieces, and then the watch disappears from the website.

Unfortunately on this occasion this did not happen, and as such we over-sold this model by 31 pieces.

As this is a clearance sale, there really is no stock left even to make watches up, so I have no option but to cancel this order. Should you wish to consider the white dial / black bezel option instead, which is a limited edition, I can offer you a 25% discount on this particular model.

https://www.christopherward.co.uk/c60-t ... nometer-28

Please let me know.

In the meantime, the order has been cancelled, and the PayPal account has been refunded.

Sincere apologies for this once again.

Kind regards

Sh*t happens, get over it and pick something else or wait for the next sale.

Sorry if this sounds insensitive but we,ve all missed something from a sale before.

Can you give me advice on how to wait for the next sale for a watch that never was even a regular price item? Better yet maybe you have one you would like to sell me?

Be nice to Wera and ask her to monitor if any of the six are returned, you never know you might get lucky.

They do come up on Gumtree occasionally, worth checking periodically.

Don't wish to raise hopes unnecessarily, but CWL 'may' be launching said red bezel chronometer with the new logo - see link below.

May be way off the mark but why would they have a pic of it otherwise?

Unfortunately I didn't screenshot it...... :(

Don't know what you saw, but I would assume, if there were a red bezel 5 day COSC in the offing, Wera would have told the OP - and myself - about it in her email.

Fair comment about Wera - I'm sure she would have told you.

It was 100% the red bezel 5 day COSC....whether it was a prototype that shouldn't have made it onto FB - why else would they remove it along with all the comments?!

Seems it would be quite popular so why not release it?!

i got this letter from Wera too. That was bad day with bad news :(

Bezels are the same for all versions. There are regular tridents with a red bezel. Only 25 over-sold watches.
I definitely do not understand why they can not just put the red bezel on a black dial SH21 and close the question.
