anyone like the GMT???

Post by highway61 »

Given that the latest updates ares still not real pictures of a real watch , does anyone feel any excitement about the Trident GMT? I am definitely am interested in the standard auto model in black but have no feeling for the GMT :?

Well I am anyway, Trident that is. I'm currently GMT less and the Trident will probably be filling the gap....

I'll probably end up with a non GMT Trident as well, depends on the colours they end up with.

I don't like GMT watches, I think "simple is better", standard auto Trident for me please.

Yeah, the Trident was going to be my GMT watch (I do have one other, but just one hardly counts) but these initial designs are not attracting me in the slightest. I loved the early mock-ups, so I will wait to see what it looks like for real, but at present... I'm not even sure the normal version is different or interesting enough to warrant a purchase. :(

the reason I am interested in the standard model is that I have been looking at the Precista 50 and see the Trident as a strong alternative

Jesus – you're not opening the 'Precista' can of worms again, are you?

Would love people's opinions on them, tbh.

I think the GMT looks good and I'll be getting one at some point; not the pepsi version btw. Unfortunately it'll have to wait until I've got a C90!

IMHO...good,well built watches which come nicely packaged and are well regarded. Eddie's got some great designs and some not so great designs (like everyone)...if you like one then i would feel confident about buying but its worth keeping an eye on the SC at TZUK cause they come up there regularly. Course, you don't have the 60/60 but then that's unique.
If you can read this you are too close to your computer screen....

At the risk of agreeing with the Forum Menace I have to say my view is dangerously similar.

I was really after the orange bezel version, but will wait to see some pics of it in the flesh.
