C5 Squared Anyone got one yet

Post by Stephenpw70 »

I am interested in getting a C5 slimline squared, but I would like some feed back from the forum first. Apart from coments on prelaunch photos there has been almost no interest in this watch from the forum.

Some info here;

It hasn't really set the forum alight, but then that's not an accurate barometer of its real world popularity. If it starts appearing in sales quickly then it may be a short lived retail dud, if not it could become a long term alternative to its circular brother.

Alasdair owns one and has some very good things to say about it. The watch has been favorably reviewed by several of the popular watch blogs. If you get one please post you comments.

You also have the guarantee to fall back on - if you don't like it, just return it.

It has pretty much been on my wrist since getting it - on there now :)
I think it is elegant / simple / very good value for money...
I have it as a matching set with the round one in the same colours and serial number (my birth year) so I suspect it is a keeper for that reason anyway... i also like manual / thin / square watches (I liked the C13 / C15)

very good value for money

Is the dial the same blue as the round slimline? For some reason the blue on the slimline square looked a touch darker to me.

Here's mine with my FLE:

PS all blemishes and marks are mine and are all removable with a decent clean :-)
