It seems though that the general direction of the compny's design is going to more 'elegant' / 'minimalist' etc. so not sure that they would bring back an older design... I loved the MKI except for the applied name which just didn't work for me - the rest of it was beautiful and used the dial better than the MKII / MKIII

Think this is going to be a year of a few CW purchases as they are bringing out some serious watches and at the right price point. The new MK iii looks amazing at 40mm just what I was looking for. So many times I have been just about to purchase but at 43mm turned away to other things at 40mm and cheaper its pretty much won the day.

That, the new sub seconds marine watch, the new trident classic, they really are moving in the right direction.

I am with akirk that guess CW will not implement dial of JH MKI of MKIII 40mm.

Personally think MKI feels better on my wrist than MKII due to dial design. It doesn't feel as empty. When the MKIII launched, I was like "here we go again" & think it's normal with its Arabic numerals. Might be the only one I am not tempted to try. Now at 40mm, it looks like a better size (wish they offer roman numerals as well)

....and far better looking than the Meistersinger variant IMO. Also like the Arabic numbering.

This is a nice looking watch. I continue to hesitate on buying a jumping hour. It's the piece that caused me to first discover Christopher Ward watches, but I just haven't pulled the trigger yet. Getting closer.

Much better size for small wrist but I was pleasantly surprised the difference it makes. Father thick case but just manageable for shirts without cufflinks.

Another comparison with another one hander.

No, I didn't buy it because it's out of stock. (I found it's interesting since I wanted to look it & mentioned I have voucher too use.) - Ordered online & used voucher. :D

Just happened to notice, looking at the website today, that the 10 is dead centre when highlighted. It is the shadow on the left hand side that that gives the impression of a mis aligned numeral.

I really don't like this one...numbers too big, doesn't suit Arabic numerals either

On the bright side...there should be approximately 18 new models this week like normal so something should tickle my fancy :-)
