As a Jump Hour owner I'm in a way disappointed with the price reduction, kind of de-values the watch a bit should(not likely) I ever wish to re-sell it. All other CW's are going up, but the JH has dropped down 250.00 :?

Mind you I do still prefer my Mk.1 design wise.

This should be great with the 40mm case size, I do prefer the dimensions, but I prefer the dial and behinds(more decorated movement and beautiful inscriptions around the outside) of the Mk.1(and the Mk.2 for that matter).

Stil can't quite decide on the Arabic hour wheel. It's quicker to read at a glance, but less pretty than the Roman Numerals where all numerals look good(not so with Arabic in the wheel IMO).

The off-centre "10" in this picture does my head in...

Oooft. Psychologically sub £1k makes this so much more appealing than £1250.

Some hard choices ahead - the new Jambo Trident GMT or the Jump Hour MkIII...

The 43mm Mk3 has also been reduced to £995
It feees up space in the pricing stratagy for the SH21 small seconds.

I wasn't sure if it was off centre or whether the lighting just makes it look that way. The more I look the more I think you're right.

it is very off-centre if anything it should be right aligned as the 0 is wider than the 1 as it is the 0 is over the centre line as shown by the 12 baton above... but that might simply be a computer-generated image...

my worry with this watch is that the depth of case is still listed as 13.3mm
that was the reason I sold all my C9s - too deep
proportionally it will seem even deeper if against a smaller diameter...

I do not like that the 10 is so offset to the left. It might be OK on a single digit, but that looks odd.

With you but would be v classy roman numerals disc with batons only. It makes it slightly different than Meistersinger's offering.

Def & I hope the thickness on smaller footprint wont lose in translation. Remind me of Bremont Solo. 37mm looks just weird in the flesh.

I wonder if the Mk2 JH will be reduced to £995 to match the Mk3, or if there's a perceived higher value due to the now discontinued Roman JH disc.

Also wonder if there'll be a charcoal dial and a bracelet option added to the 40mm?
MKII is limited edition & still available. I always feel the gold bezel one along with bracelet option was offered to promote it.
welshlad wrote:Looks good. A bit tall for a dress watch though at 13.3mm. But still nice.

There are going to be a lot of CWL 40mm temptations this year!
+1 & hopefully Mar release time will allow me to release a couple of watches.

Now will Kip be willing and able to do some Mk.1, Mk.2 and Mk.3 40mm real life size comparison pics I wonder? :D

I always felt the Mk.1 appears slightly smaller to the Mk.2 and Mk.3 with same size case, due to their more plain open dials. Personally I would really love to see the Mk.1 and Mk.3 40mm side by side in photos. I wouldn't mind adding one of these to my collection at some point, I do love the Jump Hours and a smaller case would be very welcome.

for me, the mk i was a stand-out and stunning design.
a  for producing the JH in a 'better' size for me,
and a definite  for all that blank white uninteresting space, and arabic numerals.....

I love the idea of these, but I can't cope without a second hand on my watches. It's the single most important complication for me - so that i can tell the watch is actually working.

Breath deep, take a 60 second rest now and then and stare at the dial. If the minute hand moves..it's working.

My hope would be that is only a computer-generated image, as I admire the watch a lot. (However, whoever is making the computer-generated images would do well to pay more attention to the details!).

And I agree - 40 x 13.3 is a tough size - it could easily feel top heavy - let's hope not.

Nice watch though, and my favourite version so far.
