New mk111 jump hour

Post by stefs »

The new smaller (better) jump hour is now on the website. Featuring the modified ETA movement (unless there are any sellitas knocking around of course

Interested to see the reaction to the change to Arabic numerals. Nice to see smaller - white faced - watches emerging. Smart pricing: just the right side of the magical £1K to stir interest. It could be an expensive year for some CW-philes.

When the Mk 2 was announce I said I didn't like the mix of Arabic and roman, so glad it changed( for the better IMO)

Seems to be priced more competitive. Perhaps the others haven't been selling too well at their price

I wonder if the Mk2 JH will be reduced to £995 to match the Mk3, or if there's a perceived higher value due to the now discontinued Roman JH disc.

Also wonder if there'll be a charcoal dial and a bracelet option added to the 40mm?

Not sure why it's cheaper than its big brother. The c60 is priced the same regardless of size

The 43mm Mk3 has also been reduced to £995

Looks good. A bit tall for a dress watch though at 13.3mm. But still nice.

There are going to be a lot of CWL 40mm temptations this year!

So it is. Prefer the Roman numerals here

I tend to agree. The thing that stops me going for the JH in any flavour however, is that the spectacle of the 'jump' is masked by the minute hand. Just can't help feeling the hour window would be better at the 6 o'clock position. Of course, it may well be more difficult to make the watch look nice in that configuration.
