I really like C4 Peregrines - just wanted to say it.
I really like the functionality offered by the C4 Peregrine: it just ticks plenty of my boxes.
I had one on the bedside table last night because I had set the alarm and I was quite pleased by the residual lume at fourish when I got up for a drink and then at 0515 when the alarm woke me.
Nice size dial, useful chrono, I don't hugely need to be reminded what day it is but I'm not perfect either but the alarm function when I need it is right there. Even found an overnight use for the lume pip on the bezel.
I've got two, black face model with silver/satin case and bezel and an all black "night fighter" BBMF RAF Coningsby version: don't know if they came in other colours?

No argument from me on the C4. It was my first CWL watch and is still my go to beater.

The C4 was very nearly my first CW, I got a C70 Ad Astra instead but the C4 has always had an appeal for me.
I Love your first photo, it looks amazing Pete.

For me - it is one of the few CWL watches I have sold, and the only one where I really couldn't get on with the looks - it is the inward sloping bezel I didn't like - it makes it seem as though the watch face is hidden away - just doesn't work for me, though I can see that others don't mind / like it... the actual face - love it...

Whereas the second one is barely a photo at all. Completely pants. You're right, I need to retake this watch.MiniMpi wrote:The C4 was very nearly my first CW, I got a C70 Ad Astra instead but the C4 has always had an appeal for me.

I picked this one up from another forum member. C4 CF18, designed for the RCAF CF18 squadrons. The silver maple leaf and CF18 silhouette at 12 make a very subtle special edition.

It's a handsome piece right enough. I was quite tempted in the early days but concluded it might be a bit too big. The alarm makes it a great watch for travelling.

Have two, sold one, one more will be up for sale soonish. Blue one gone to a gentleman of this very parish. Red LE is staying put. As Kip says it's a great grab and go option!

I love the C4 it is my daily wearer.
I love it.
I have the black faced one but like the silver/white face too (although I hear that it is harder to read the time).

They did indeed. Check out the archives (that button near the top of the page)tikkathree wrote:don't know if they came in other colours?

I had three at one stage but have since sold them off.
C4 PVD on bracelet but tried with various straps for this montage.
The blue dial which was a really nice colour. It took a while before selling this one.
And the blue dial again but in gold.
The blue is stunning in the sunlight.
All gone now.

Re: I really like C4 Peregrines - just wanted to say it.
The blue dial is an amazing watch. It was going to be my first CW, but after I ordered it in a NN sale, Wera emailed to say that the offered watch had a fault that made it non-saleable. I instead ordered my C5A (the watch that first piqued my interest in CW) and have been very happy ever since. I love the C4, but as I find myself moving towards smaller watches, it may find itself up for sale. The C6, despite being the same size, seems to get more duty as my main 'grab and go' watch.ianblyth wrote:
