hm, i don't really like it because:

-The small second is too close to the centre,
-The small second is too small
-I don't like roman numerals
-and I'm not a fan of quarz
-All this points make the watch look quite cheap

And I already have a watch with small second coming(should be delivered somewhere in may).

I just noticed in the images of the C1 that the strap is fitted to the case (no gap). I wonder if that is the way it really will be, or is that just the way it got rendered?

I noticed that too, I think it is part of the design.

love the watch model but why Quartz?

Is there a possibility for a limited edition mechanical watches for this forum based on the C1?
even a broken watch shows the right time twice a day

That's the one I was thinking of.

Got a reply on my question as to when the C1 will be in the web.,
Chris told me the C1s will be hosted on the site in about 4 weeks time with first delivery around end July.

I just noticed the C1 is included in the menu on the Christopher Ward Website. No pictures yet...

The full-size pictures are now available. I must say, the quality of these pictures is good, much better then the other ones...

If this one was available with automatic movement, I would go for it immediately:

The pictures don't have that "Family Photo for £50" look background now too.

What a beautiful watch... just a pity it's;

A: Mechanical. Just a personal preference... but I'm conflicted
B: 40mm diameter. Just a bit too big for my puny wrists
C: Outwith my current budget. Simple truth

If it was a hand-wind I would have already bought it.

A: => You probably mean: "Not mechanical" :)
B: => This is personal indeed, but that is one of the things I like best, a 'larger' dress-watch! I suspect the 40mm will be great for the C1...
