Congratulations Paul.

What are your initial impressions?

I am waiting for the first person to comment that the watch on your wrist doesn’t appear to be a new blue OP! :)

Neil
Thanks Neil
Initial impressions are nothing but positive. I think the blue op may have had more of a casual every day feel due to the brushed bracelet and would have saved me a good few Bob when it eventually arrived. This is my fav datejust face and lovely though the blue op looks it was an easy decision to choose this one.
In no time at all it looks just right on my wrist and not too small as many would be concerned about with a 36mm watch.
Very much in the glancing every few minutes stage

Sea Urchin for lawn mowin’

This might be the last watch I ever wear because I’m pretty sure I’m going to drop dead from the mowing...and my lawn is a postage stamp. #bodybycovidquarantine

Very nice! Personally I'm pleased you went for a Datejust and cyclops - excellent choice IMHO.

Ah that’s better. :)

You are unfortunately correct about the difficulty of finding anywhere to stay.

We delayed booking, deciding a safer order of visits was to see our daughters for a week each, before venturing to the Lakes.

By the time we booked choices were limited.

We managed to get a week in Threlkeld starting the bank holiday weekend. Went to Booths on the Saturday to stock up - never seen Keswick so busy.

Hopefully quietened down a bit now.

Neil
