I am trying to find a strap that allows me to take advantage of the 200m water resistance.

Unless you mean one that you already own, blue Hirsch Tiger without a doubt.
Blue to match up with the hand and rice/beige stitch to the dial.
And I guess you could say the black rubber undercarriage matches the dial numerals

That’s a good suggestion, thanks. I have looked at these performance models for other watches in the past but it had not occurred to me for this. To be honest it would also look ok on my SMPc. I liked the colour but this Watch Obsession perlon is a little thin, I think I should have gone Eulit, you can’t beat the quality.

Hi, can I ask what the quality of the Veryan NATO strap is like? Fancy one but the couple of reviews on the WathGecko site were putting me off.

Thanks
Mark

Hi Mark,
Personally I think they are very good, i.e., great quality and comfortable.
I can't comment on the longentivity as I haven't had them for long enough.
I had already bought the Burgundy one for my BBR when they were first released so it was a no-brainer when they came up in the sale
...and, let's face it, for £9 you can't go wrong.

I bought three of this type when they first came out and have worn them all.

Two have been fine but one, the blue/orange/white has had a tiny amount of initial fraying on the hole used for the pin and on the hole that's on the crease, where I fold it over to tuck in.

The initial fraying has not got any worse and it doesn't bother me as the fabric / colour / weave is so good.

More than happy to buy a couple more, particularly at half price.
