Starting the work week off w/ an Ebel..
For later this afternoon/evening..
Ebels are a lot like women that lack a lowcut dress that zips up the side..neither gets the love that they deserve..

That's patina is developing nicely Paul. Is that the original strap the watch came on?

Yes it is Robin. To be honest it is really nice. It is chamois deer leather and the suede finish it just about the softest thing you could ever touch. Nice taper to the strap and really comfortable.

Just fabulous! One of my "unrequented" grails. Congratulations.
Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…

That's very nice and looks very classy Gary.
I was never a Pam fan, couldn't get past the crown guard/heft but Ive developed a real desire for a 42 Radiomir 1940 with white dial and aged effect lume (tried one on and was quite special).
If/when the business is running or I get a proper job again I might make the jump. Especially if I can get my collection consolidated to less than 12-15 pieces (who am I kidding).

Re: Non CW of the Day
Like that combo Neil. Do you not find these sit a bit high on a double-layer NATO though?
Ryan
Re: Non CW of the Day
^^^^^ Ryan it hasn’t annoyed me yet. I have worn the green dial version for a few days on another standard NATO and it sat ok. The two layers on this are probably no thicker than a single pass deluxe NATO such as a Haveston.
I may end up cutting off the extra layer, so that I can position the buckle and keepers on the underside of my wrist.
Besides if I don’t wear the strap with this watch it will sit sulking in the strap box, where it’s been for the past couple of years.
