Haven't seen that one before Guy, very nice take on a diver/sports. The lume and small seconds add lots of interest. What mm is it please, looks a purposeful tool?
Cheers Stephen.

Got it last summer from @footycrazy in trade for one of my pieces.

Definitely in the purposeful tool category.

Substantial 46mm. Lume looks, and is, Orange, and the double pointer small seconds is a neat feature (not as neat as CW's 'breather' on the C60 Trident Pro 600 Chrono, though).

Looks good on the bracelet Steve.

Thought you preferred straps though.

Hi Guy,
I like to switch about a bit and sometimes I settle on a particular style for certain watches. For example, my orange SKX works best on the Seiko Jubilee. I like this Sinn on my Murtu leather but popped it back on the steel for a change. I prefer my Tudor Ranger on canvas etc. You get the drift.
Steve.

The watch that refuses to die...

This is about 25 yrs old. I’ve polished it; repainted the bezel; it’s had four capacitor replacements; but finally the charging circuit failed.

So I’ve “upgraded” it from kinetic to standard quartz, complete with working power reserve indicator

As well as the group of watches that I wear on a regular basis, I thought I would also try and pick a “not often or no longer worn” watch for a few hours each day to help me remember why I bought the watch in the first place.

Starting with my birth year watch. A chance purchase from a dealer friend a few years ago.

That's a lovely vintage Tudor Neil, I don't recollect seeing it before. The red hand/extra crown is for an alarm function I believe. A watch with a lot of character

^^^^^ Thanks Patrick!

Yep the red hand is for the alarm. Crown at 2 to set and wind the alarm, crown at 4 to set and wind the time.

To paraphrase something you said the other day, sometimes the old ones are the best. It’s been a while since I can recall seeing the Advisor make an appearance here, but it is undoubtedly a nice one Neil.
