Opened the watch box this afternoon and this shiny Casio Illuminator shouted at me. I love the colour and detailing with day/date to boot on this cheap n cheerful watch. 8)

Rare to see the quartz variant. Very nice indeed. Due to no longer being made their used value is rocketing.

Yes, I have seen one or two selling for quite a bit more than I paid for mine.

Have always been tempted. OK. It's not the auto but apart from the shape of the date window being squarer that that of the auto, visually it's hard to tell the two types apart. And both are gorgeous. Congrats

The three lower lines of text on the auto v two on the quartz is the biggest giveaway for me

So much charm for so little money. One of my best decisions to date was to re-purchase the SARB.

Love it! :D

Cheers

I reckon it would've looked better with a blue second hand, but unfortunately my first attempt to purchase one failed.
I'll keep looking though.

Looking good in the sun there, Steve  Am I right in thinking that those Steveo straps for the Black Bay taper to 18mm to enable use of the Tudor deployant clasp?

That's a gorgeous looking EP, Kari. Is that a recent addition?
